Veronica and Steve were so happy to hire me for their wedding day. I was so truly touched by their genuine appreciation for all of the love and care I put into my photography to pull out the most artistic and fun photographs that I can think of or have been inspired to capture.
Steve is a veterinarian from Seattle, Washington, and Veronica is his assistant. He actually fired her because of some conflict of interest issues, but once she was gone, he realized how much he missed her and needed her back. He called her up, and begged her to return. She did. They fell in love. And the rest is history. LOL.
For their Las Vegas destination wedding, they flew all of their guests in, and planned a very private, intimate, all-day adventure. They had so much planned that they required 12 hours of photography coverage with two photographers. The day began with breakfast at the MGM Signature Resort, which they thoughtfully included us in. It was a great ice-breaker to talk with all of the guests and get to know Veronica and Steve a little better before our day’s adventures began. After the super yummy breakfast, we headed out to the Las Vegas sign to get a couple of fun group shots of the whole gang. Then we were off to the Secret Garden at the Mirage, where we saw dolphins swimming, tigers sleeping, and a whole bunch of other exotic animals. We all worked up an appetite in the hot sun after the self-guided tour and hopped back on our Shuttle Bus to The Four Seasons to have lunch at The Verandah. Mm… it was soooo good. First, we enjoyed a delicious watermelon salad. It was refreshing beyond goodness. Then, everyone chowed down on their pre-ordered menu selections. I had an organic turkey burger with a mixture of sweet and not sweet potato fries. Very tasty!
After lunch, it was time to start getting ready for the wedding! So, Veronica and Steve, my second photographer and myself took a limo back to the Signature MGM. The guests remained behind to enjoy the grounds at the Four Season’s and return to the MGM at their leisure on the shuttle bus. We took our time getting ready and had no need to rush, as Veronica is super efficient at planning and had every second of the day accounted for on the itinerary. She’s amazing!
After getting ready, it was then time for us to head up to the Revere Golf Club for the ceremony and reception. Following the gorgeous ceremony on the event lawn, we had plenty of time for family photos and the couple’s bridal portraits.
Having worked up our appetites again, we were incredibly thankful that Veronica and Steve had been so thoughtful to include us in all of the delicious meals of the day. They even had us seated right next to them at every meal. So sweet! We were just so completely humbled by their adoration for us, without ever having met us.
What an incredible day! Thanks to both of you for your true generosity throughout the entire day. You were a pleasure to photograph and made my job so incredibly easy and fun! xoxo!

I loved this silhouette shot that I took in front of the underground aquarium.

Here’s that delicious watermelon salad I was telling you about!

Veronica was thoughtful enough to provide parasols for each of her guests to shade themselvesĀ from the vicious rays of the Las Vegas sun.

Rather than having ring bearers, these two young men came down the aisle with bubble guns. Unfortunately, they didn’t know how to operate them! But credit goes to Steve for this genius idea – so much fun!

Veronica wanted to have their day very close and intimate and thus chose to be seated alongside all of their guests at a single table.
