Jeana and Chris are such a sweet couple. Back in January of this year, I got a new client inquiry from Jeana that said this: “We would love to meet and discuss options for our wedding. We love your work and would be honored to have you be a part of our day.”
Wow. I was so touched by her kind words. They weren’t anything over the top, but they were sincere and meaningful.
It’s like pulling teeth sometimes to get brides to come in for a consultation. I’m not a dentist. I promise I won’t pull out anyone’s teeth. LOL! Coming in for a consultation to actually meet with your photographer is soooo huge – this is a person that you can potentially have as a friend for the rest of your life – someone who will continue to photograph all of your family’s milestones – maternity, new baby, family portraits, etc. I can’t stress enough how important it is to actually meet with your photographer. It’s one thing to value and love their work, but it’s really key to get to know them, and make sure that they are indeed someone that you connect with, someone who just “gets you.”
So, I really applaud Jeana for being a bride who knew what she wanted and understood the importance of the interviewing process. We had an awesome family portrait session prior to the wedding, which I still need to blog by the way, so look for that soon. In the mean time, I just wanted to share some of my favorite images from their Las Vegas wedding.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jeana’s gown. Isn’t it absolutely gorgeous?! It’s a Maggie Sottero, and she was able to snag this beauty from Celebrations Bridal here in Las Vegas.
And for the record, Jeana and Chris, I am so honored that with all of the brilliant photographers Vegas has to offer, that you chose me to capture your most precious wedding day memories! xoxo
