I was so excited to meet fellow photographer Adley Lindblom back in January. I wasn’t quite expecting them to hire me on the spot, but they did! Apprently they stalked my blog and website pretty well before coming over for a consultation and were very confident in what they wanted. They are getting married at the Parisian Palace next week. This place is off the chain, and I can’t wait! They are going for a classic, vintage Las Vegas vibe. It’s going to be a club-like atmostphere for the reception with Pizza from all different pizza joints from around town delivering. How fun is that?! I am super excited. Adley and Wes are so cool and fun to hang out with. I had a blast with them during our Las Vegas engagement session together. They couldn’t have selected a better location for the feel they were going for. Fremont has really great lighting, cool signs, and screams vintage Vegas. I love it. Here’s just a few of my faves from their session.

Phillip and B, short for Isabelita, hired me for their wedding - brace yourself for this one - 3 days before their wedding day. Yes, you read that correctly. THREE DAYS. Although, I highly, highly don’t recommend waiting until three days before your wedding to settle on who you’d like, they are a little bit of an exception as they planned their whole wedding in about 2 weeks. They were married at the gorgeous Ritz Carlton at Lake Las Vegas. The day was beautiful, and I had a great time working with these two. Phillip told me after the wedding that a lot of his guests thought I was really friendly and cute. haha… How funny. So, here’s some of my favorite images of the day.

Renee contacted me after looking at my blog. She fell in love with the photos I took for Kristi and Brian out at Spring Mountain Ranch. I met with her and Geoff for a consultation and we really hit it off. They are such a sweet couple. They are getting married at one of my most favorite wedding locations here in town, The Springs Preserve. This is such an amazing venue. Their staff is super friendly and helpful, and I love their style, their approach to a greener, more caring earth, and doing their share to make the world a little bit cleaner, greener and prettier. I am so exited for their wedding. Yay! It’s almost here!!!
So needless to say, Renee and Geoff wanted their engagement photos taken at none other than, yes, you guessed it - Spring Mountain Ranch. We headed down to the Artisan for some fun, artsy photos afterwards. So, here’s a little peek at some of my faves from the day.

As I mentioned in the previous post, Nicole and Thomas are fun, funny, and have great chemistry together! I am really looking forward to their wedding coming up in just a few short months. For part II of their Las Vegas engagement photos, we headed downtown to Fremont Street. We had a great time hanging out. Here are a few of my favorite images from their session.

Nicole and Thomas are two of the coolest people I know. They are fun, funny, and have great chemistry, both together and in front of the camera. They make my job so easy. After going over several ideas for their engagement session, they decided they wanted two different looks. For the first look, we headed up to the snow at Mount Charleston. It was COLD, but I wore three pairs of socks and Terrence’s boots, so my feet stayed nice and toasty. My hands, on the other hand, were like ice cubes. Next time, I will definitely remember to bring some mittens.

I love Tara and Beck. I was a little nervous the first time they came to meet with me because Beck didn’t seem like he was interested in anything I had to say. LOL. He seemed like the kind of guy who wanted the bride to handle everything and he’d just show up the day of. During their engagement session though, I began to understand more about their love for each other and their characteristics, and as I continued to work with them more at the rehearsal and on the wedding day itself, everything fell into place for me. They fit so well together and they really complement each other in so many ways.
It’s been a fun-filled ride, and there is never a dull moment with these two.
The lovely couple was married at the Hilton, and had the completely awesome DJ, Gabe, from All Event DJs to run the show. Throughout the entire night, everyone was commenting on what a great DJ he was! He definitely kept everyone entertained, and I highly recommend him. Whatever it is he charges, he’s worth it and so much more!!!
I know I am sooooo far behind on blogging, but here are a few of my favorites from their beautiful wedding.
Love you guys! Hope you have babies really soon!

Jen and Anthony are so fun and open to new ideas. They are super easy-going, laid back and ready to party. They went to the same high school and graduated the same year but never really hung out. They finally had a chance to connect at their ten-year high school reunion and have been loving every minute together since. You may remember them from their engagement session at Lake Las Vegas back in May. Here are a few of my favorite images from their wedding day! I had so much fun - thank you both for including me in your special day and the day before at your rehearsal dinner. You both have been so good to me, and I have greatly cherished our time together!

Woah, right? This is usually not my style per-say. But, I decided to play around a bit with this image using some textures and a little sepia tone (which is, however, pretty common for me to use). At first the image was a little on the dark side. Terrence’s word to describe the image was “morbid.” That wasn’t exactly what I was going for, so I brightened the tones a bit. I like this though. It’s different… but cool. Jen and Anthony’s wedding images coming to the blog soon.

We were just notified today by Las Vegas Bride Magazine that both Lighten Films and TSL Photography have been nominated for the Las Vegas Wedding Awards. This is such a prestigious nomination, and we know that we are up against some pretty stiff competition. The awards are being held at the gorgeous Bali High Golf Resort. Wish us luck and feel free to vote for us by commenting on this blog post! Thank you so much! Your votes mean so much!

Oh yeah, who’s gonna be rockin’ some gorgeous Jessica Claire Shootsacs? That’s right, ya’ll… that would be me. Check out my order. Can’t wait!!! We all know how attentive to details I am… and I love to accessorize… this is just so me! Thanks, Jessica!
I ordered the pattern in the front, along with a red one, and another design not pictured.
